Shawn Levy just dropped a new chapter on the intro Star Wars film.
During the final scene of the episode The movie … with Kevin McCarthy In a podcast, the 57-year-old filmmaker shared that he enlisted Thomas Newman to pick up the music Star Wars: StarFilFach.
“I don’t know if that’s a government thing, so it’s now. Yeah, yeah, I think we’re going to break the news here,” said Shawn. “If you ask me to name my favorite scores, five of the top 10 are Tom Newman: Shawshonk, Shuterink Road, Nemo, American Beauty.”
“And I was thinking about this film and what I need the music to be, because it wants to be a kind of coffee,” he continued in the film. “But no, it’s not detracting from Williams’ character.
Shawn continued, “Maybe something, but I knew that I needed a big and open-hearted movie that came out of the moc of John Williams, shy of the topics.”
“So, I called Tom Newman. I don’t understand, I’m a fan. And I said to myself, ‘hey, it’s a tax, would you ever consider…?’ And he said, Send me the text and explain your point of view. And I had both of those, and it was yes,” the director shared.
“I’m very upset. … I’m very happy,” added Shawn.
Which are called, Star Wars: StarFiche It will be released in cinemas on May 28, 2027. The star cast of the film includes Ryan Gosling, Matt Gosling, Matt Smith, Dan God, Mia Goth, Lightning Bird, Amy Adams, and Aaron Pierre.
