Cinematographer Barry Markowitz revealed shocking details about Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Singer’s relationship with their children.
Barry, who was a close friend of the deceased Spinal cords director, shared that the couple had been enjoying romantic dinners and TV time with their children in the weeks before their violent deaths.
Rob’s friend made the shocking revelation on Tuesday during an interview Page Six about his recent stay at the filmmaker’s residence in Brentwood.
“Maybe I was one of the last people to see it,” he told the media.
Barry explained that The Princess Bride a director invited him to his house while he was in town for the screening of his new film, The best bet.
“They would say, ‘You’re here, you’re not going to a hotel.’
Barry shared that he lived with Rob, Michele and their children – Nick and Romy – for five nights. However, the couple’s other son, Jake, was busy working elsewhere.
“Romy came in and left [of the house] And dinner time comes and we are all dressed up,” he said talking about their time.
“[We would] Shout out to the TV, we watched a movie and a basketball game. Played with dogs. Family time. One big love fest,” added Barry.
“I slept in the same house as Nick,” said the award-winning cinematographer, adding that Rob never expressed concern for his safety.
For the uninitiated, Rob and Michele Singer were found dead in their home in LA on December 14th.
Police arrested the couple’s son, Nick, on Tuesday on suspicion of murdering his parents.
