Rob Reiner children speak out as their brother Nick faces murder charges

Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner’s children Jake and Romy have broken their silence following the tragic death of their parents.

As their brother Nick Reiner faces murder charges, Jake and Romy release a heartbreaking statement.

talking to CBS News, The brother and sister both said, “Our parents, Rob and Michele Reiner, are like no one has ever met. They weren’t just our parents, they were our best friends.”

They added, “We are grateful for the condolences, kindness, and support we have received not only from family and friends, but from all parts of the community.”

In addition, Jake and Romy asked for privacy and their parents to be remembered for the wonderful life they lived and the love they gave.”

It is important to mention that this statement came when their brother Nick Reiner appeared in the Superior Court of Los Angeles after being accused of murdering his parents, Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner.

In a surprising move, Nick waived his right to enter a plea. His lawyer, Alan Jackson, told the judge it was “too early” to enter the trial and asked for it to be continued until January 7, 2026.
