Police hold son Nick Reiner ‘responsible’

Nick Reiner has been arrested and is being held “responsible” for the death of his parents, filmmaker Rob Reiner and producer Michele Singer Reiner, according to Los Angeles police.

Rob and Michele were found dead in their Brentwood home on December 14. Authorities said the couple’s daughter found the bodies.

According to reports, Rob and Nick had a heated argument at a holiday party on Saturday, hosted by Conan O’Brien.

Sources said Nick appeared agitated and worried the guests, and Rob and Michele left the party shortly after.

TMZ said the filmmaker and his son Nick had a “huge argument” during the Christmas party.

“Nick was shaking everyone, he was acting crazy, he was asking people if they were famous,” an eyewitness said. People Magazine.

Nick was booked on suspicion of murder, and now the police say he is “responsible” for killing his parents. CNN.

Hollywood icons paid tribute to the couple as Viola Davis said on Instagram, “some losses are beyond words.”

“Rob… the writing of your work, the passion of your advocacy, the magnanimity of your beautiful soul will be immortalized,” she added.
