Pete Davidson recalls first date with Elsie Hewitt

Pete Davidson looks back on the moment he knew he and Elsie Hewitt were meant to be.

The couple, who officially entered March 2024, then announced that they are expecting their first child, and briefly returned to social media during a one-day Instagram story called ‘Blumbram’.

From there, they opened up as soon as something pushed them.

Elsie shared that she had strong feelings in the beginning. During their first dinner date, she told Pete, “Don’t think I’m crazy, but I know you’re supposed to be the father of my children.”

Pete remembered the same feeling, answering at the time, “I know.” Laughing, Elsie pointed to her current pregnancy and said, “Don’t look at me anymore!”

Pete was also called back to another moment from the past that made him smile. Elsie tries to make their breakup fun with a special proposal.

“She goes, ‘I have a reservation in the escape room so we can always go,'” he joked, adding that his reaction was basically, “Oh, cool, bombed, bombed.”

Now, with a baby on the way, the two are focused on the new memories they will soon make as parents.

Pete said that they are especially happy to “dress the baby as normal.”

He spoke openly about the kind of father he hopes to be, explaining during an interview in August The Breakfast Club He hopes to “be able to take care of things and show them the childhood I didn’t have.”

As he put it, “I think you just try to give them what you don’t have, and what you don’t like, don’t do it.”
