North West gives blunt advice to Kim Kardashian for Met Gala 2025

Kim Kardashian is a regular at Gala events. But this year, she was worried about participating in the event, MOGUL fashion revealed.

Her defiance is reflected in fit matters as her black leather jacket is studded with a chrome heart.

But her daughter, North West, gave her advice to the insults, which convinced her to go. The latest episode of The Kardashians shows this conversation.

“You have to go,” the 12-year-old tells her mother. “What’s the worst that can happen? People hate your clothes? They do it every year,” adding, “you have to go – that’s it.”

Her words proved to be important for Kim’s promotion, as she decided to leave the event held at the city museum in New York City.

There, the founder of Schims spoke to Vogue, sharing that her daughter is a “big critic” of her style.

“It’s also in a very good place now,” she said, “where it’s, ‘Hey, even if that’s not criticism, you being you, then that’s it, that’s what you have to go into.'”

This isn’t the first time North has shared her opinion on her mother’s fashion choices. She previously called Balenciaga’s Kim’s “bag bag.”

But criticism from her eldest daughter has not always sat well with the mother-of-four. “You can’t really take it seriously, and you’re 10 years old,” she realized. “I never do, but he’s breathing a little.”
