Kevin Bacon ‘in tears’ as he pays emotional tribute to Rob Reiner

Kevin Bacon was emotional as he expressed his heartbreak over the death of Rob Reiner.

Rob, led by Kevin Good Little Menwas killed on Sunday along with his wife Michele Singer Reiner.

On Monday, the actor shared a video on Instagram talking about the late director.

Kevin said in the video, “I’m not sure how to do this, but Rob Reiner gave me a nice little A job.”

“Sometime in the 90s, I guess it was, and I was over the moon to get that job, because people may or may not know, but This Is Spinal Tap is my favorite movie of all time,” he added.

The actor further added, “When he called me, I was very happy, but doing that film was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had.”

“In that respect, it was very interesting. And it really comes down from the top. You can set a tone where people feel that we are working hard, but we are also working hard in a safe, comfortable and fun environment,” said Kevin.

“We had lunch together every day. I’ve never done that as a director before or since.”

“He and Michele will be there, and they are both great together. Kyra would come. She was pregnant with Travis. It was a magical time. So I’m just sending love to everyone who knew him today, because I know everyone is hurting today,” added the actor of the deceased couple.

Besides Kevin Bacon, the movie Good Little Men also starring Tom Cruise, Demi Moore, Kevin Pollak, Kiefer Sutherland, and Jack Nicholson.

Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner have died after being fatally stabbed in their Los Angeles home. The son of the deceased couple, Nick Reiner, has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Insiders said DailyMail that Nick was placed under the “guardianship of the prison’s psychiatric evaluation team” at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility after his arrest.
