Jessie J reveals truth behind ‘beast’ lyric after Channing Tatum rumors

Jessie J clears the air about rumors that her new track has dropped a post about her ex.

The level of the 37-year-old has recently been speculated after the release of her latest tracks, which left her fans wondering if the songs, which refer to her as a “monster”, are about Channing.

It is worth noting that the couple dated from 2018 to 2020.

However, Jessie set the record straight by taking to her Instagram account and saying in a story at the end of the season that Channing was not the inspiration for her new song.

“I dropped it and it’s not about @channingematum,” she revealed. “I never said it was.”

The British singer further said that she felt the need to speak in defense of Channing Channing because they knew “if the shoe was on the other foot he would have corrected the story as well.”

Referring to a 12-year-old daughter he shares with ex-wife Jenna Dewan. Jessie got up to say, “It’s strange and I never want her beautiful daughter to ever read any of it or be told what I said about it, it’s not fair.”

“Channing and I ended our relationship over our media and not holding his disrespect,” he was never a monster, she added.

Jessie, who released her new album Don’t Have a Good Time on November 28, said she felt bad about the news showing it was a “monster” and asked everyone to “move.”
