Jamie Lee Curtis explains reason behind bold fashion statement

Jamie Lee Letis reveals the bold strategy behind one of her most memorable moments.

The Oscar-winning actress recently posted a tube photo on Instagram, flaunting herself in bra-style.

Sharing a photo of honor World AIDS DayCurtis, 67, wrote, “my friends, rick and george and all their friends and all ours and all of you around the world.”

“I just lost my best friend, Rick Frank, that year. The years before that, and his prophet passed away, and I went to a parade, and I went to an auction dinner,” she shared.

“I knew they wanted me to speak, and I was wearing a jacket, and when I went up to the microphone, I took my jacket because I’m a marketing person.”

She added, “I knew that if I walked up to that microphone and threw on that pink jacket, it would make people pay attention, which is the point.”

A long-time advocate known as ‘Totbades’ for AIDS awareness and research, Curtis has made it clear before she is proud to use her energy to promote causes that she still cares deeply about.
