James Van Der Beek honoured amid cancer battle

James Van Der Beek continues to put himself out there while undergoing treatment for colon cancer.

The 48-year-old actor was recently pictured smiling with American TV reporter Craig Melvin ahead of an interview. NBCs Today show.

Posting it on Instagram, Melvin later praised Van Der Beek, saying, “A lot of forgiveness for dreaming abroad, but James is shining so much these days. It was fascinating and inspiring.”

Colon cancer, also known as bowel cancer, affects the bowel or rectum and is one of the most common cancers in the UK. Symptoms may include blood in the stool, rectal bleeding, or changes in bowel habits.
