Fans react after The Weeknd shut out of Grammy Awards 2026

Despite delivering one of the most popular albums of 2025, the week was once again left out of the award nomination group, angering fans and critics.

His most recent release, Hurry tomorrowwas widely hailed as a career-defining effort intended to be the final chapter of the so-called ‘Weekend’.

The album earned recognition at related awards and mtv vmas, including best album, but the recording academy did not add a single nomination.

The crime is unusual given that it quickly became the No. 1 issue of Billboard 200 and broke several streaming and sales records. With heavy competition in the general category, his absence still stands, leaving fans with academic questions.

SNOCNDD’s SNUb is out for album of the year, as he submitted in multiple categories. This is not the first time he has advanced with Garaha.

In 2021, he called the Union “corrupt” after being arrested for his rare accusations about the hours after the album.

In 2025, he agreed with the academy, performing Endless time During the 67th Grao Harvey Masvy Mason Jr. Awards.
