Dick van Dyke has opened up about his early struggle to quit smoking.
On November 30, the 99-year-old actor held a high tea party in California to raise funds for Van Dyke’s fake art and dick vanke museum.
During the episode, Van Dyke opened up about his relationship with Walt Disney and his smoking addiction.
Vanke said, Van Dyke said, “He was an amazing guy. It’s just so much!”
Van Dyke, known for his role as Mr. Dawes Jr. by Disney in 1964 Mary Poppinshis son barry cut him off to find out that his father “never smoked.”
Chitty chitty bang baThe NG star backed up the claim, saying, “I drank a lot, actually!”
He said, “I think I look like I was in my 50s before they came along and developed an addictive personality.”
“If I like something, I’m used to it,” he said.
Van Dyke is nearing his 100th birthday, he admits that adopting a healthy lifestyle has played a big role in making him reach his birthday.
“So I got rid of cigarettes and cigarettes and all that, which is why I’m still here,” he admitted.
