Aerosmith was permanently removed from the rock ‘n’ roller coaster at Disney World in Florida.
The veteran tradition has been the star of the Live Pre-Show Video since its inception in 1999, but will be replaced by Merees Monee in 2026.
The pre-show video featured the band members and the ride itself was a soundtrack of Aerosmith hits Way to go, dude (looks like a lady) and Sweet feelings.
And the pier itself saw visitors join in an Aerosmith recording session before being whisked away for a ride in the band’s limousine.
The new Mumpes theme will see visitors competing to keep up with members of Muqsha’s powerhouse band The Mumps of Mayhem who have been absent from previous shows.
This comes after aerosmith and yungloldbrad’s recently released five-part ep One more time They also announced a collaboration with country star Lainey Wilson, on the track Wild woman.
Before the release One more time, Aerosmith hasn’t released any new music since 2012’s Music from another dimension! album.
In 2024, Aerosmith announced that he had retired from touring due to a hamstring injury suffered by Man Steven Teller, but since then he has returned to the stage with The Return of the Stage.
Guitarist Joe Perry said in July that Aerosmith had discussed getting a proper send-off after the 2023 tour.
He said: “I know there’s at least one other Aerosmith, and I can’t wait to fall into that set list.”
