Taylor Swift admits her artistic journey on the new album started with innocent origins.
The singer, who is currently enjoying the success of her album Life of a Showgirl, says her track ‘Wood,’ which features her husband Travis Kelce, was not meant to be.
Speaking to producers Max Martin and Shellback, Swift said: “I want to make a throwback, a timeless song, and I have this idea of ’I don’t have to knock on wood’, and it’s going to be all suspense… it really started from an innocent place!”
“I don’t know what happened, man,” Swift continued. “I got in there, we started rocking and I don’t know how we got here, but I love the song so much.”
This comes as the singer prepares for her wedding to Kelce.
Speaking to BBC Radio 2’s Scott Mills, she said: “I’m really upset at the thought of marrying this person right now. I’ll think about that, then I’ll get this album out and then I’ll think about other things after that.”
This comes as Disney + announced on Thursday that the final two episodes of Swift’s six-part documentary series, The End of an Era, will arrive sooner than expected.
The fifth and sixth episodes will now air on December 23, moving from the original date of December 26.
Stream called the change “an early gift to fans around the world” in the X post, which also included a sneak peek of episodes three and four. Those events are set to go down on Friday, December 19.
The documentary gives Swifties an inside look at the creation of Taylor Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour, featuring behind-the-scenes footage, rehearsals and personal reflections.
