Colin Farrell makes bizarre confession about pain

Colin Farrell has made a surprisingly deeply personal confession about what fascinates him most about the human condition.

When he was talking to Jessie Buckley A variety of characters series, the Irish actor admitted that the dark side of life has long interested him, both personally and professionally.

The revelation comes as Farrell stars as an addict in his latest film, Ballad of a Small Player.

Extending his vision, Farrell explained that his life is full of joy, pain is still a universal human experience.

“I have crazy happy times in my life and the joy of work and the joy of my children,” he shared.

“But I’ve always felt that generalizing about the human experience is painful.”

The Oscar-nominated actor went on to make it clear that he sees fear and uncertainty as an extension of his emotional core.

“One thing we all felt, really, was pain. Fear and uncertainty put that flag up,” he said.

Farrell also reflects on the imbalance of human experience, noting that not everyone is lucky enough to experience happiness.

“Everybody, sad, didn’t feel happy,” he added and said, “And that’s a big tragedy.”

Concluding his honest thoughts, Farrell explained “I am very interested in pain,” because “every act of aggression or violence has its roots in pain that has become personal.”
