Rob Reiner’s family has made many plans for his funeral and a glimpse of what the world can expect has now been shared by celebrity reporter Rob Shuter.

He shared all about his Substack and revealed that the couple’s family is planning a “deeply private, carefully guarded ceremony” for him and Michele Singer Reiner’s red carpet finale instead of a bigger public affair.

An insider spoke to Mr Shuter about the decision and admitted, “They know how many people want to pay their respects, but this first goodbye is strictly about family and the people who have been in their lives every day.”

One of the main reasons for this is “the family is terrified. They can’t handle a public scene right now. This is about dignity, safety, and grief.”

According to the reporter, the only famous people who have been confirmed on the guest list include Michelle and Barack Obama, as well as other politicians who were among the inner members of the couple.

However, that is not to say that there will not be a big event, another public event for others to pay their respects because “There will be a public memorial, and every major award show is planning taxes. The industry wants – and needs – to respect,” the source concluded by saying.
