Chris Hemsworth is sharing his wife’s two cents about 15 years of marriage.
Speaking on the latest episode of the ‘On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast’, the actor talked about what made him and his wife Elsa Pataky strong.
“Both have a kind of adventurous spirit, spending time with each other. I think the difficult times were when it was all work, all children, and all of a sudden ‘we’ the relationship is kind of non-existent,” he said.
“You’re kind of managing the house or the work-family schedule. Elsa will be off work, and I’ll be off work, and then it’s chaos with the kids, and so it’s like we’re going to take it all off and have time for just the two of us and make space for each other where the rest of the world can be overwhelming.”
The two actors met in 2010 and share daughters India, 13, as well as twins Sasha and Tristan, 11.
Speaking about their busy lives, Hemsworth added: “I think it’s difficult for everyone, really. It’s all relative. Yes, it’s a challenge, but we also have the opportunity to work.”
“We have no excuses as far as supporting each other because of our situation,” added Hemsworth.
“There’s always that spark and attraction, but what it comes down to is friendship and companionship in the end. When you run out of things to talk about, you’re missing that passion and interest in each other, that’s when it matters,” he said.
