Russell Simmons claims he paid $50,000 a month, Kimora Lee Simmons calls it ‘lies’

Kimora Lee Simmons has had enough. According to her, what her ex-husband Russell Simmons said about her and her daughters are nothing but false claims.

Her strong response on Instagram is allegedly setting the record straight. “My daughters are grown women!” the fashion designer strikes back.

Referring to the accusations of his attacks, Kimora wrote, “You know these are false. Why are you writing thousands of miles away from a non-violent country? Go negotiate and answer your accusations.”

This fiery response was an equally critical essay by Russell, who accused him of being her provider for twenty years but that, in his view, still stole from him.

“I paid you 50,000 a month for 20 years,” Russell, who shares daughters Ming Lee, 25, and Aoki Lee, 23, and Kimora, wrote on Threads. “I was our best friend, the father of the other 3 children, until one day you stole my stuff.”

“I have been fighting ever since for the love of my children and my bread,” he continued. “You threatened that if I sued you, I would never speak to my children again. There are two sides to every story.”

Russell and Kimora married in 1998, but the couple called it quits in 2006, and their divorce was finalized in 2009.
