Kristen Stewart reflects on the biggest lesson she learned in the first eight months of marriage to wife Dylan Meyer.
The 35-year-old Oscar winner spoke about her relationship in an interview with Esquire published on Tuesday, in which she expressed the importance of choosing carefully who surrounds you.
Stewart, who Wed Meyer, 38, in April, began by saying that her marriage demonstrated the value of ownership and intentional transfer.
“It’s great to have a family. It’s great not to be an unknown,” Stewart said. “Dylan came into my life, and right away I was like, ‘It’s important to stop and treat the people around you.'”
The actress also praised her wife for her straightforward style. “Dylan doesn’t just suffer fools,” Stewart said. “It doesn’t always seem like it, but I’m really a ‘nice guy.’ It is only strengthened to be with someone who reminds you that your life is in your hands. “
Stewart and Meyer went public with their relationship in 2019, they were engaged in 2021, and it made the first carpet on the carpet of the election and after the Academy Awards.
Earlier, in February 2024, Stewart told the Stones that she hopes to start a family soon. “I don’t know what my family looks like, but there’s no F****** I don’t start getting kids. I really want that to happen.”
