Dame Judi Dench believes convicted sex predator Harvey Weinstein “served his time.”
A new interview with him Radio station, Judi found out that she had seen a video of the exile walking the prison bars, where he was sentenced to 16 years for rape and sexual assault.
“I saw some film about Garvey walking with two sticks and you think, ‘Well…’, I found out by luck, luckily for me,” he said.
She noted that she felt sympathy for his victims, but “I guess he served his time.”
“I don’t know, it’s personal to me – sorry,” she added.
On the other hand, in the interview, she shared that she “wrote” with “Spin Space”, which supported her death after the death of her husband, Michael Williams, in 2001.
The post was accused of sexual harassment but the charges were dropped. He was also found not to have coerced a state case brought in New York in 2022. He will face three more sexual assault claims next year in London.
When asked about the allegations, Judi said that Spacey was “pissed off.”
Judi has previously mentioned how Weinein played a big role in supporting her future. Her first leading role was in the 1997 drama Mrs. Brown, who produced the Miramax production.
Weinstein, 73, served his sentence at Rikers Island after being convicted of rape and sexual assault in Los Angeles in 2023.
