Laura Pern remembers her mother, actress Diane Ladd, on what would have been her 90th birthday.
Laura took to her Instagram account on Saturday to graduate with a shocking post sharing Diane’s black and white tube top.
“Happy birthday to me, the most famous person ever, would have been 90 today,” the 58-year-old wrote to the 58-year-old.
Laura said, “as an artist and a human being, you have always loved, always dreamed, always created, and always served all.”
She concluded her post expressing her love for her mother later, adding “I love you, mom.”
These are not compatible, Diane recently passed on November 23 due to respiratory failure. It was 89.
Laura released an official statement announcing her mother’s death at the time, which read, “My incredible heroism and my tragic gift to Diane Thed, walking by my side, like her home.”
“She was the eldest daughter, mother, grandmother, actress, artist and kind and ruthless spirit that dreams can be,” she continued. We are glad to have her. She flies with her angels now.
Diane is best known for her hit film and TV roles, including Wild at heart and Rumbling Rose, Alice didn’t live here and was also nominated for Oscar and Emmy awards.
