Kevin Hart says he almost died holding cake for Karen Gillan’s birthday

Hollywood star Karen Gillan celebrated her 38th birthday on Friday by sharing a series of photos with her “Jumanji family.”

The actor shared some unknown photos with co-stars Dwayne “Johck” Johnson, Kevin Hart and Alex Wolff.

Gillan, who expressed the role of Marta in the franchise, “I have written many birthdays over the years and how Kevin is ready to hold the cake, even if that cake is made.”

She added, “The trio’s chemistry is undeniable, and they’re obviously having the time of their lives working together.”

The next film follows Jumanji: The Next Level, which revived the franchise after Robin Williams starred in the 1995 adaptation of Chris Van Allsburg’s 1981 children’s book.

Jake Kasdan, who directed the 2017 film and the 2019 sequel, returns to Helmbal for the third film from a script by Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg. It hits theaters Dec. 11, 2026.
