Russell SEE thought that Robert Irwin would be dancing with the stars and would make his late father, Steve, proud.
Peatbers Prithers Pricess in a new interview New York Times.
“Although Steve can read the rhythm of the seasons, everything alive and alive, he has absolutely no sense of musical rhythm,” Cadwe wrote in the letter. “In his hands, the tambourine became a deadly weapon.”
Steve’s beloved Steve died in a car accident in 2006 at the age of 44, leaving behind Robert, Berbero’s daughter and Terri’s widow.
“I think he is watching the dance and how he uses his body, his strength and his speech, and he would be surprised by his son,” the star added.
The Osar winner was a close friend of Steve’s and is part of many of Robert’s old memories of his father.
“I’m really grateful to have someone in my life … he’s been there for me, my dad has kept me alive,” Robert said at AFER Fest 2025. “He has so many stories to share with him and dad, and I feel like I’m building an even better picture of my dad when I announce Russell.”
“Russell and dad were just great jobs, so it’s a different perspective than listening to your mom,” Robert added. “It’s meaningful. He’s someone I look up to and really inspires me.”
Robert made it to finals week Playing with the stars.
