Jack Patten spent more than 80 hours training with a bow and arrow for his role as Robin Hood in the new MGM series MGM+.
The 28-year-old Australian has been training in Serbia for four to six hours a day to show off his legendary figure as much as possible.
Patnet had never used a bow before, so quick sessions with the sting team were essential.
By the time the film begins, he has gained enough skill to handle the weapon with confidence, although hitting a bull on the first try was a challenge.
The star also learned to ride a horse for the series, going beyond his experience to add visual realities to the action scenes.
The preparation helped Paten complete the final Robin Hood and brought credibility to the central story.
MGM + stars Lauren McQueen as the daughter of Marian, Sean Bean as the Sheriff of Nothehain, Eraeniem of Aqueitaine and New Henry stew to be Gamewels.
However, Robin Hood is now streaming on MGM+, offering the audience to take over the classic story with careful action, realistic performances, and special attention to show jugnating
