Adam Peaty credits Holly Ramsay for bringing stability to his life amid family row

Adam Peaty has opened up about his relationship with girlfriend Holly Ramsay, revealing that it brings a sense of ‘balance’ that is bittersweet to their marriage.

The 30-year-old swimmer shared his understanding of his relationship with a 25-year-old woman in the famous Gordon Racsay YouTube documentary series, which follows his journey to the 2025 World Cup.

Speaking to the camera, Adam said: ‘If I’m running trials or competing in another meeting, it’s going to be for the audience. I’ll be in a different room or something.

‘I thought when we start this season that I want to be there because it gives me balance, but also there is no time at home for three weeks.

‘And for someone going through their fourth Olympics, you need balance.’

Elsewhere in the episode, Holly gave more insight into how these two met.

She said: ‘When Adam and I first met, we didn’t swim. After the Olympics, his head was caught. He is retired.

“So he took it from the Olympics until January and returned to the water in January.’
