Almost two years after her team announced that she had been diagnosed with early dementia, a new round of medical tests has reportedly found that the show’s former favorite speaker does not have the disease, according to reports. Tmz.
Sources revealed on November 11 that Williams had recently undergone a comprehensive evaluation by neuropsychologist Nework Neuroopers, which directly contradicted the previous diagnosis. The updated findings were reportedly sent to Williams’ legal team late last month, and her attorneys are expected to file court documents in hopes of using the new information to end the ongoing lawsuit.
Williams, who is 61, was publicly diagnosed in February 2024 with early dementia and aphasia, conditions that affect affect, memory, and behavior. Her team said at the time she started to “lose words” and “behave wrongly,” prompting more tests.
