Benson Boone has issued an apology after canceling his Birmingham concert just an hour before it was due to take place.
The 23-year-old singer is scheduled to win on November 1 at the Attilata Arena.
But just minutes before he took the stage, Benson shared with his fans that the gig would not go ahead as planned.
He released a statement though social media saying “Birmingham I’m so sorry but I can’t make it tonight.”
“I’ve tried everything I can to revive my voice, but I can’t give you the performance I’d like to give you in the current state of my throat.”
Boone assured fans that he is “working with his team to get a date booked as soon as possible.”

“I promise I’ll do everything in my power to make it up to you. I’ll update you guys as soon as I can.”
The POP singer ended his post by thanking all the fans for the support they have shown since he hit his career.
Benson is supposed to play in London at the London O2 on November 3rd, 4th and 5th. However, he has not yet commented on the cancellation of these shows.
